Veg Manchuria
Ingredients
:
· Chopped cabbage – 200gm
· All-purpose flour – 2tsp
· Corn flour – 4 tsp
· Salt – to taste
· Chilli powder – ½ tsp
· Tasting salt (aginamoto) Optional –
¼ tsp
· Garam masala – ½ tsp
· Chopped garlic – 7-10 cloves
· Chopped ginger – (very little) 1gm
· Chopped green chilli – 4pc
· Chopped onion – 40gm
· Chopped beans – 100gm
· Chopped carrot – 100gm
· Ginger garlic paste – ½ tsp
· Soy sauce – 1tsp
· Red chilli sauce – 1 tsp
· Green chilli sauce – 1tsp
· Tomato sauce - 1 ½ tsp
· Vinegar – ½ tsp
· Sesame oil – ½ tsp (optional)
· Water – 50ml
· Spring onion/ coriander – (to
garnish) 20gm
Procedure :
· Step 1 : Boil chopped cabbage,
chopped carrot and chopped beans.
· Take a bowl and add corn flour, all-purpose
flour, salt, pinch of garam masala, soy sauce ½ tsp, boiled veggies (cabbage,
carrot, beans).
· Mix all the ingredients and deep fry
them into small roundels; for 2 min.
· Step 2 : Take wok and add oil and
put in on a high flame, after oil gets into hot temperature add Chopped Ginger
and garlic, chopped green chilli, chopped onion and sauté them and bring it
into like golden brown color.
· Now add ginger garlic paste cook it
well until raw flavor is gone.
· At this point of time add soy sauce,
red chilli sauce, green chilli sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, chilli powder,
garam masala, tasting salt (ajinamoto), salt (to taste) and water (30ml); bring
it to boil.
· Now add fried Manchurian ball and
toss them well, cook it well for 3-4 min.
· Give final touch with spring
onion/coriander for garnish.
